ArtSmart Summer Camp 2024
Who: Ages 5-12.
When: June 17-21, 2024, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost: $175.
Where: Olde Town Conyers; daily check-in and check-out at CRCA Theater, 910 Center Street, Conyers, GA.
What: Visual art and performing art classes. Lunch not included.

Conyers Rockdale Creative Kids Triple Threat Musical Theatre Camp
Who:  Rising grades Kindergarten-12th grade.
When:  June 24-28, 2024.

What:  Children in Kindergarten-12th grades can learn singing, dancing, acting, teamwork, creative thinking, and more in a safe and nurturing environment. Camp culminates in a performance on the final day of the camp.

Who:  Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment students.
When:  June 3-6, 2024, 7:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m.
Cost:  No cost.

What:  Prepare for advanced academic courses next school year through experiences that propel your performance in Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses.

Inspiring Engineers, Inc. STEAM Summer Camp 2024
Who:  Ages 5-13. 
When:  One-week intervals 7 a.m.-6 p.m.: June 3-7, June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 1-5, July 8-12 (closed June 19 and July 4), 2024.
Cost:  $160 per week (includes breakfast and lunch, field trips) and $30 registration (includes t-shirt).
Where:  921 N. Main Street, Conyers, GA.
What:  Academic enrichment, art, coding, drones, engineering, field trips (at least 2 per week), forensic science, healthy eating, Math 24, music, robotics, spheros, STEM presenters, and more.

iCan Shine Bike Camp
Who:  Ages 8 and older with disabilities. 
When:  June 10-14, 2024.
Cost: $250.
Where:  Memorial Middle School, 3205 Underwood Road, Conyers, GA 30013.
What:  The iCan Shine Bike program is a safe, fun, proven method that teaches individuals with disabilities how to ride a two-wheel bicycle independently. Riders will attend camp for 75 minutes each day for 5 consecutive days. Hosted by the Rockdale County Autism Support Group, Inc. Riders must be at least 8 years old, have a disability, walk without an assistive device, be willing and able to wear a helmet, be able to sidestep on both sides, weigh less than 220lbs., have a minimum inseam of 20”, attend camp all 5 days.

Patriots Baseball Camp
Who:  Rising Grades 1-8.

Rockdale County 4-H Cloverbud Day Camp
Who:  Rising 1st-4th grade students.
When:  July 9-11, 2024, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Cost:  $10/day or $25 for all three days (lunch and snacks included).
What:  Cloverbuds experience a taste of summer camp by meeting new friends and enjoying scheduled activities; students play games, make crafts, check out science experiments, and have special guest presenters.

Rockdale County 4-H Cloverleaf Overnight Camp
Who:  Rising 5th-7th grade students.
When:  June 17-21, 2024.
Cost:  $425 (includes meals, activities, and transportation to and from Rock Eagle 4-H Center).
What:  Overnight camp at Rock Eagle 4-H Center with activities including canoeing, archery, games, crafts, and more.

Rockdale County Parks & Recreation Summer Sports Clinics
Where: JP Carr Gym, 1090 Hardin Street NW, Conyers, GA, 30012.
Cost:  $50/week (Lunch not provided. Tennis shoes required).

Rockdale County Youth Fire Camp
Who:  Ages 11-14
When:  June 10-14, 2024, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost:  Free
What:  Students learn CPR/First Aid Training and basic fire rescue activities with Rockdale County Fire Rescue personnel leading the camp.

RMSST Summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Camp
Who:  Students in rising grades 4-8 (current grades 3-7 in the 2023-24 school year).
When:  June 3-6, 2024 or June 10-13, 2024. Full-Day 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Half-Day 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Cost:  Full-Day $200, Half-Day $100.

What:  Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math activities, such as science experiments, cupcake engineering, math and art, guest presentations.

Who:  Rising Grades 6-12

Where: Georgia Piedmont Technical College Clarkston Campus, 495 North Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, GA 30021.
What:  A week of STEM related field trips, hands-on projects, conversations with STEM professionals, and more as students create their own superhero world in different ways; by the CERM Legacy Foundation in partnership with Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC), Wundergrubs, Pharoah's Conclave, The Becoming Project, Start With Me, The Opportunity Runway.

Taylor Made Foundation Teen Summer Program 2024

Who:  Ages 13-17, teens living in Newton and Rockdale counties.
What:  Basic mechanics, basic home repairs, basic electrical, basic plumbing, field trips, cooking classes, outdoor activities, games.
When:  Mondays-Wednesdays, June 3-July 17, 2024. 7 p.m.-9 p.m. in June; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in July. Closed July 4, 2024.
